What is the theme of the anthology?

The theme of the anthology revolves around romance, allowing authors to explore any sub-genre they desire. Whether you prefer sweet, steamy, or adventurous romance, this anthology welcomes all levels of spice to ignite your creativity.

When and where does the story take place?

The common setting for all the stories is the first Sunday in July in Utica, NY, coinciding with the famous Boilermaker event. Your characters can be runners, volunteers, or simply individuals impacted by the excitement of the event, adding a unique touch to your narrative. Did you know there's a HUGE post-race party? 

How can you participate?

To participate in this anthology, you must be a registered attending author for Romance in CNY on April 18th, 2026. 

Then you'll just need to submit your story along with the Signed Contract by January 16th, 2026.
